Atmel University Program

Spring has sprung, students! It’s almost time to shrug off those warm winter thermals and limber up for the home stretch before the summer break! Of course, first there are those pesky exams to get through, but we’re sure you’ll do just fine!

Spring is a time for growth and renewal, and in that spirit, Atmel is pleased to present its brand new syllabus! It’s open source and free to use as you see fit, so have at it! Everything you've ever wanted to know about getting started with Atmel hardware will be available for your downloadable pleasure, with helpful tips and tricks available from our hardworking field application engineers upon request.

We’re also adding new projects for you to sink your teeth into, some new videos from the recent Embedded World show in Nuremberg Germany, and we've launched a new phase of our AVR Design contest.

As always, there are some really helpful books on our resources page (we've even managed to score you a discount on some of them). We've also found some neat "How-to" videos for those who prefer watching to reading. And, for those who like to get really stuck in, we've added some cool DIY tutorials so you can get to building robots, digital lava lamps and anything else you need to secure that A+ in practical electronics.

We've even thrown in a 25% discount on all chips and kits for you, which means you can spend more on Ramen noodles this 2014! Yaaay! In order to get that discount, please REGISTER HERE, and then follow the three simple steps HERE.

In addition, we've got the Atmel Tech on Tour mobile trailer up and running, coming to a campus near you over the next few months. Stay posted for more news on that on the Atmel University Facebook and Twitter page, or our Pinterest for the more visual amongst you. Make sure to check in on our blog for your daily dose of electronics news and awesome sauce.
