Atmel Automotive Solutions for Body and Convenience Applications

The Atmel Adaptive Headlight Control subsystem consists of an Atmel MCU, a motor driver SBC (system basis chip), a LIN communication bus transceiver, and an integrated voltage regulator. The LIN transceiver can either be a standalone device or Atmel can integrate it into the MCU or motor driver as a SiP (system in package).

High Voltage Drivers

  • Rugged design — Atmel's unique BCD-on-SOI (bipolar, CMOS, and DMOS on silicon-on-insulator) architecture combines high-voltage capability with the benefits of rugged SOI technology. The parts feature good temperature resistance with permissible junction temperatures up to 200°C. The parts have excellent radiation hardness, very low leakage currents, low parasitics, high switching frequency, and good latch-up immunity.
