Atmel Automotive Solutions for Body and Convenience Applications

The Atmel Window Lift Control subsystem consists of an Atmel MCU, a motor driver SBC (system basis chip) a LIN communication bus transceiver, and an integrated voltage regulator. The LIN transceiver can either be a standalone device or Atmel can integrate it into the MCU or motor driver as a SiP (system in package). The external inputs for switch control can be standard mechanical switches or buttons. An alternate solution would be to replace the mechanical switches with Atmel QTouch capacitive touch sensors. In doing so, you will reduce the BOM (bill of material) cost. The Atmel QTouch libraries and drivers are available at no cost to the developer as long as an Atmel MCU is used in the design as the touch controller.

High Voltage Drivers
