Atmel Automotive Solutions for Infotainment, HMI, Connectivity Applications

Auto companies are adopting backup cameras into their automobiles. Atmel provides automotive-grade products to facilitate this trend. A typical solution would include an Atmel MCU to interface to the camera’s control signals and to provide a LIN interface, a transceiver for the LIN physical layer connection, and a voltage regulator. The transceiver – voltage regulator combination is available as a single space-saving System-Basis-Chip (SBC) . For an even higher level of integration, solutions that combine the MCU with the SBC into a single package are also available.
