The broad family of Atmel® ARM®-based microcontrollers integrate all the functions required to implement digital cameras on a single-chip, including capturing, processing, compressing, displaying, and storing images in Flash cards, as well as controlling camera functionality through the use of an integrated processor. Additionally, leveraging our MCU expertise combined with the expertise of our sensor partners, your design can more efficiently and effectively process and integrate the real-time data of its surroundings with our sensor hub technology. In addition, the Atmel ATSHA204 CryptoAuthentication™ IC authentication chip family is the only battery authentication IC that uses a SHA-256 cryptographic engine and a 256-bit key to protect cameras from counterfeit accessories, such as battery packs.

[ - ] USB High Speed Device Mass Storage on SD/MMC Card with AES

Abstract: This reference design demonstrates a USB Mass Storage device based on AT32UC3A3, featuring High-peed USB for communication and a SD/MMC-card for storage. When enabled, AES encryption/decryption can secure the data from unauthorized access.
