- Tablets and Notebooks — Our maXTouch T microcontroller is the world's first single-chip touchscreen solution for Windows 8 certified notebooks and Intel Ultrabooks™ up to 15.6 inches. This technology features a groundbreaking dual architecture using both mutual- and self-capacitance for the industry’s best touch performance and lowest power consumption. It fully supports Windows 8 certified Atmel maXStylus™ technology. A high number of nodes accurately report the positions of unlimited simultaneous touches, even gloved fingertips, including stretch, pinch, and rotate gestures, and the touch of a styli or fingernails. By implementing the sensor hub technology your designs can deliver a rich user experience that accurately takes into account real-time contextual data related to location, orientation, direction, and motion.
