RSA Conference 2008

  • RSA Conference 2008
    April 8-10, 2008
Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA
    Booth #1344

At the RSA Conference 2008, you will gain perspective on the state of the industry as well as emerging trends on leading topics in information security — best practices, insight, perspective and opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Visit Atmel at RSA Conference 2008, Booth #1344, meet with our expert technologists to learn what's new in Atmel's security offering and be entered into a drawing for a Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii (one will be awarded each day).

What You Will See
Product demonstrations exhibiting the latest technologies and capabilities found in:
  • Conference Paper
    • Multi-factor Secure Authentication for Logical and Physical Access Control
      Friday, April 11, 9:00 AM
Stephane DiVito, Application Engineer, Secure Micros and Martin Squibbs, Business Development Manager, Biometrics
  • Exhibit
Atmel will be showcasing the following technologies at RSA:
    • CryptoMemory®
CryptoMemory is the world's only family of Secure Serial EEPROMs. These devices combine proven EEPROM memory technology and advanced security features to create a low-cost, high-security solution for any application requiring data protection. A proprietary cryptographic algorithm encrypts data, passwords and checksums, providing a secure place for storage of sensitive information. With its tamper protection circuits, this information remains safe even under attack. CryptoMemory devices are available with user memories from 1 to 256 kilobits of EEPROM.
    • CryptoRF®
CryptoRF is Atmel's high-frequency family of devices for contactless tags and label applications. CryptoRF is available with memory densities from 1 Kbit to 64 Kbits with a 64-bit embedded cryptographic engine and dual authentication capability. Our expertise and experience provide ultra secure authentication technology for intellectual property protection, track and trace, logistics management, anti-cloning and anti-counterfeiting, identification, and ePurse. Atmel offers a complete family of products dedicated to RFID security.
    • CryptoCompanion™
Atmel's CryptoCompanion chip, when used with CryptoMemory® and CryptoRF® devices, provides a highly secure, hardware-based solution. CryptoCompanion offers plug-and-play host-side cryptographic security for embedded systems that are prone to counterfeiting, firmware theft and the violation of licensing agreements.
    • Atmel's Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
The Atmel TPM provides ultra-strong, hardware-based security and interoperability in a single-chip, turnkey solution for next-generation PC and embedded computing environments. The core building blocks for the Atmel TPM are our popular AVR® microcontroller and our expertise in silicon security technologies. Additional security measures include active shielding and a variety of tamper-evident circuits. The Atmel TPM implements the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) main specification that is increasingly being adopted as the industry standard for secure remote communication between all types of electronic devices.
    • Fingerchip® (Fingerprint Sensor)
The FingerChip family of sensors leverages Atmel's proven capabilities and expertise in microprocessor technology to reliably acquire, store and match biometric data. With Atmel's unique, patented method, the entire finger image is captured by "sweeping" it across the sensor. This non-intrusive thermal technology produces the best quality images, regardless of fingerprint quality and environmental conditions. Atmel has dual solutions for PCs and PC peripherals: the FingerChip sensor alone for convenience at the consumer level; and for enterprise security, the complete FingerChip Security Chipset solution combines the FingerChip sensor with an Atmel state-of-art coprocessor optimized for biometrics operations and security threat prevention.
    • AT98SC Security Solution
The AT98SC is a complete turnkey and easy-to-use solution (hardware and firmware) designed for embedded systems. Leveraging on more than 20 years of Atmel smart card design expertise, the AT98SC has advanced security features built to serve anti-cloning, access control and hardware protection applications. It targets FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria EAL+4 certifications.
    • AT91SO System-On-Chip Security Solution
The AT91SO system-on-chip is designed to meet the most stringent security requirements for full system protection against reverse engineering and hacking.
The AT91SO has impressive features such as intrusion sensors, secure data storage capacity, and high-cryptographic performances needed for electronic transactions and payment terminals.
Who Should Attend
  • Developers interested in hardware security to stop counterfeiting, IP theft and unauthorized access or tampering
  • Developers who need the highest level security available today and don't have time to learn complex cryptographic processes
  • Professionals interested in biometric silicon solutions
