The Atmel 11-bit resolution digital temperature sensor features programmable over-temperature alarms and a 2-wire I²C/SMBus compatible serial interface specifically designed for DRAM memory module applications. The sensor converts temperatures from -20°C to +125°C to a digital word and provides a typical accuracy of ±1°C (max.) over the operating temperature range of +75°C to +95°C. It continuously monitors temperature and updates data in the temperature register at least eight times per second.
