Highly integrated AM/FM BiCMOS technology front-end circuit for sophisticated car radio applications. It provides a complete, automatically-adjustable AM/FM front end containing both a double-conversion system for FM and an up/down-conversion receiver for AM. It features an IF1 of 10.7MHz and an IF2 of 450kHz. The front end is suitable for digital or analog AF-signal processing. It can be combined with the PLL U4256BM to create an automatically aligned high-performance AM/FM tuner. (Not recommended for new designs.)
