The FingerChip® family of sensors leverages Atmel’s proven capabilities and expertise in microprocessor technology to reliably acquire, store and match biometric data. With Atmel's unique, patented method, the entire finger image is captured by "sweeping" it across the FingerChip sensor. This non-intrusive thermal technology produces the best quality images, regardless of fingerprint quality and environmental conditions.
