Atmel is the world's #1 manufacturer of Parallel EEPROM products. These products are the highly flexible members of our Nonvolatile Data Storage Memory family. The Parallel EEPROM enables the user or application to update the stored data byte-by-byte or by full sector, while providing reliability benefits of high programming endurance and data retention, and faster read timing than Serial Interface protocols.

Atmel provides a complete selection of densities (64 K-bit to 4 M-bit), operating voltages and device packages. Atmel's battery voltage (2.7), low voltage (3.0) and 5-volt Parallel EEPROMs are used extensively across a broad spectrum of products including telecommunications, avionics and military applications. Atmel offers the world's only 4-Mb monolithic EEPROM, which is used in military and commercial avionics applications.
