Dedicated Controls has over 12 Years experience in the design of embedded software and electronic applications, used primarily within the industrial process control market and road traffic management systems.

Dedicated Controls takes customer's concepts, requirements or technical specification and produces finished designs. The designs include all electronic and software development, circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, parts list and technical documentation. Software development can include both embedded or PC applications. Customers can have the option of maintaining the source code themselves in-house or continued maintenance and development support from Dedicated Controls.

Specialising in low power battery operated designs. Typically used for Intrinsically safe, thermocouple / RTD, down hole water meter monitoring, energy management transmitters using VHF /UHF radio telemetry and embedded TCP/IP. Dedicated Controls has developed more complex electronic software systems used within the UK road traffic management control.

Dedicated Controls was also invited to join the low power radio association, which is the voice for the low power radio industry, this allows Dedicated Controls to keep up to date with changes in the government licensing laws and the moving technology.

We are an independent consultancy with more than 25 years experience in the design of microcontroller based products to more than 100 clients in 30 countries. Our first design in 1981 was for a UK government department using the radiation hardened RCA1802. Since then we have designed embedded products into almost all sectors of the marketplace, with applications as diverse as a low power monitoring unit using an ATtiny chip clocked at 32 kHz, to selecting a 250 MIP controller for use in a WiFi Access Point with Power over Gigabit Ethernet.
