The Atmel® | SMART SAM L21 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is ideal for evaluating and prototyping with the ultra low power Atmel SAM L21 ARM® Cortex®-M0+ based microcontrollers. Extension boards to the SAM L21 Xplained Pro can be purchased individually.

The ATSAML21-XPRO-B evaluation kit does not include extension boards.

To begin configuring software for your board, please visit our web-based software configuration tool Atmel START. You can also download pre-compiled demos for your board here. Below you will also find a selection of pre-built demo binaries that can be run by downloading them to the mass storage device that appears when you connect the board to your computer.

USB HID Mouse

This pre-built demo requires an OLED1 extension board to be connected to the EXT2 header. Connecting the board to the computer using the Target USB connector will make it emulate a mouse over USB HID. Use button 1 & 3 on the OLED1 board to move the pointer left/right.
