What payment types can be used in the Atmel Store?

The Atmel Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Purchase orders are also accepted from qualified customers.

What is the Atmel Store's return policy?

Products purchased from the Atmel Store can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date.

How do I return something I bought from the Atmel Store?

Please contact an Atmel Store customer service representative at 1-888-542-8144 or to obtain an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number before returning products. Returns must be accompanied by the original invoice number, including a brief explanation of the reason for the return, and be in the original packaging and in resalable condition. All ESD sensitive products will undergo incoming inspection and products not handled according to the ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard will not be eligible for credit. Return freight charge must be prepaid and C.O.D. returns cannot be accepted. Products returned solely due to customer error may be subjected to a restocking fee.

How do I know if my order was received?

You will receive an Order Confirmation email from the Atmel Store confirming the receipt of your order shortly after it's placed. If you don't, please check any junk mail or spam folders and ensure is added to your safe senders list. How do I know if my order was shipped?

You will receive an Order Shipment email from the Atmel Store confirming the shipment of your order. The email will also contain a link to track your order with the carrier you chose during the checkout process.

How do I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order by using the link that was provided in your Order Confirmation email. You can also check the status by visiting and submitting the Web ID and Access ID that were provided in the email. My company is tax exempt. How do I ensure I'm not charged sales tax?

Your order will be charged sales tax unless you have a valid sales tax exemption certificate on file with Digi-Key. What Atmel products are available in the Atmel Store?

What is the minimum order size?

There is no minimum order size other than special quantity requirements for Atmel tape and reel carriers. However, when available, other tape and reel options will be displayed for you to choose when adding devices to your cart.

Can I order a device or tool that is currently out of stock?

Yes, if a device or tool is normally available in the Atmel Store but isn't currently, you can still place a backlog order. Lead times for backlog items can be checked in the cart. You will not be billed for backlog items until they are shipped.

Who operates the Atmel Store? is operated by Digi-Key Corporation, an authorized distributor of Atmel products. Fulfillment and processing, including payment, of your order will be conducted with Digi-Key and you will be asked to accept Digi-Key's terms of sale upon checkout.

Are my credit card details stored by the Atmel Store?

The Atmel Store does not store your credit card information and it must be entered with each order you place.

I am having problems viewing my cart with Internet Explorer. What should I do?

Currently the Atmel Store shopping cart does not display correctly with Internet Explorer 7, however, it does function correctly. You can add items to your cart and submit your order normally. If possible, please update Internet Explorer to the latest version supported by your operating system or use an alternate browser.
